CUH 100 Guest Speaker #1: Kristiana Kahakauwila (Storyteller and Educator)

Kristiana Kahakauwila is a hapa writer of Kanaka Maoli (Native Hawaiian), German, and Norwegian descent, known for her works like "This is Paradise: Stories" and the middle-grade novel "Clairboyance." An associate professor of creative writing at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, she has also taught at Chaminade University and explores themes of identity, culture, and contemporary Hawaiʻi in her storytelling.
