50th Annual Honolulu Intertribal Powwow

The Ho‘opili Tribal Council \(formerly known as the Oahu Intertribal Council\) will host its 50th Annual Honolulu Intertribal Powwow on August 29 and 30, 2026, on Magic Island at Ala Moana Beach Park. Guided by this year’s theme, “From the footsteps behind us to the generations ahead,” this free public event will begin with a Native Hawaiian blessing of the powwow grounds at 9 a.m., followed by cultural entertainment and the Grand Entry of dancers at 10 a.m. Attendees are invited to experience Native American traditional and contemporary dancing, drumming, and singing, along with Navajo frybread and tacos, local food booths, Native craft vendors, take-home keiki activities, and educational/community resource booths.
