Enjoy two of our community's providers of music as they come together to perform a joint concert! The members of the Oahu Civic Orchestra and the Honolulu Wind Ensemble are volunteers from all over Oahu who have joined together to create a beautiful concert. Music by Borodin, Gliere and Galante, Wagner, DeHann and Rimsky-Korsakov.

Royal Hawaiian Band Performance

The Royal Hawaiian Band, established in 1836 by King Kamehameha III, is known as the "King's Band" and has a long tradition of sharing Hawaiʻi's music with the world. The band performs free concerts on the ʻIolani Palace Grounds most Fridays from noon to 1 p.m. Its mission is to promote and foster music, preserve Hawaiian musical culture, inspire young musicians, and enrich the lives of the people of Hawaiʻi.
