**SEA LIFE PARK CELEBRATES WORLD OCEANS DAY WITH KEIKI SUNDAY EVENT AND COMMUNITY BEACH CLEAN UP ON JUNE 7** Sea Life Park Hawai'i will roll out a wave of family fun and ocean awareness on Sunday, June 7, with a special Keiki Sunday celebration held in honor of World Ocean Day. The festivities will begin with a community beach cleanup in partnership with 808 Cleanups, taking place across the street from the park at "Baby Makapu'u Beach" from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Volunteers and community members are invited to help mālama the coastline and kick off the day with a hands-on effort to protect the marine environment. Following the cleanup, families are welcomed to continue the celebration back on the grounds of Sea Life Park Hawai'i with the Keiki Sunday World Oceans Day event, with key festivities 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guest will get immersed in interactive learning experiences focused on conservation and family–friendly fun. With oceans covering approximately 70 percent of the Earth’s surface, World Oceans Day serves as a reminder of the critical role oceans play in sustaining life on our planet. Sea Life Park’s Keiki Sunday is designed to inspire young visitors to learn about and care for the marine world through engaging activities and thematic educational experiences. Families can enjoy keiki hula performances by Halau Hula ‘O Puka’ikapuaokalani under the shade of the Beach Boy Lanai, complimentary face painting with Storybook Entertainment, free keepsake photo ops and more.
