Papa ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi: Hawaiian 101 at the library

Aloha pumehana kākou! Feel free to join us for our second Hawaiian 101 class at the Kaimukī Public Library. We are continuing the *Basic Hawaiian Language* class for those interested in learning ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi in a fun and engaging way. This class will be taught by Librarian Moki Renti Cruz who will incorporate Hawaiian songs as a tool to help build vocabulary and understand sentence structure. No prior music experience needed. Please keep in mind this is a beginner level Hawaiian language class*.* For those of you interested, this class will be held every Monday from 3-4pm, excluding holidays or specific dates when the Kumu is unable to make it to class. This class is recommended for youth ages 13 and up. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
